Weekend Box Office: Frozen freezes Paranormal activity

Disney’s newest animated film FROZEN grabbed the #1 spot with another $20.7 million! The supernatural spinoff PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE MARKED ONES opened in second place with $18.2 million.
THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG in third with $16.2 million, Martin Scorsese’s controversial THE WOLF OF WALL STREET in fourth with $13.4 million, and the all-star con game AMERICAN HUSTLE in fifth with $13.2 million.
Next weekend sees the opening of THE LEGEND OF HERCULES, and Peter Berg’s and mark Wahlberg’s Navy SEAL action movie LONE SURVIVOR also Joaquin Phoenix romancing the phone in Spike Jonze’s HER.
