“She-Ra and the Princesses of Power” Review by Brooke Daugherty

When we last saw Shadow Weaver, she used her powers to escape the Fright Zone sending her to Adora’s room in Bright Moon. Season three brings about a bit of a truce between Shadow Waver and Adora. We are introduced to new characters in the Crimson Desert for a couple episodes with the rest taking place in Bright Moon and the Fright Zone.
Although the show is aimed for a younger audience, the themes can be enjoyed by fans of all ages. The writing is simple enough for children, but sophisticated enough to keep adults interested. As in previous seasons, the animation is gorgeous and brightly colored. I personally love the character designs so much, I have added several to my list of costume ideas.
As mentioned before, we are introduced to new characters in the Crimson Desert, a once thought deserted area of Eternia. The one worth mentioning is Huntara, played by the one and only Geena Davis. We learn more about Hordak and Eternia as well as getting an introduction to alternate timelines. The ending allows for a fourth season and I will definitely be watching when the time comes.
