Hulu’s trio of podcasting sleuths returns in its second season with another murder and a whole lot more hijinks. If you haven’t watched the first season, why are you even reading this? Go watch it! The combination of two older men in show business and a deadpan millennial is way more fun than it sounds.

Steve Martin returns as Charles-Haden Savage, with Martin Short as Oliver Putnam, and Selena Gomez as Mabel Mora. The three are still podcasting and solving murders, but this time it is a murder they are framed for. Tina Fey comes back as Cinda Canning and Adina Verson plays fer assistant Poppy White. New to the cast is Michael Rapaport as Detective Kreps and Cara Delevingne as Alice Banks.

This season brings the laughs and the mysteries. No matter how hard you watch all the clues, you will be thrown off by every. Single. Red herring. Sometimes television shows have uneven seasons. The second season is better and saves a show or worse, the second season can’t keep up. With Only Murders, both seasons are equally funny and intriguing.

This review is short, but there is no need to repeat myself from my review of Season 1. With the news of a Season 3, I am excited to see how the next murder plays out.
