“Big Mouth” Season 3 Review by Stephanie Chapman (SPOILERS)

Season 3 of “Big Mouth” on Netflix is a hilarious trip back to Connecticut to visit a charming group of adolescents (and their hormone monsters) that we have grown to adore.
Life is tough and navigating sexuality while going through puberty is not easy, as demonstrated by our favorite animated characters. “Nick” (voiced by Nick Kroll) becomes obsessed with his new cell phone and discovers that some separation is a good thing for this short lived but intense relationship. “Missy” (voiced by Jenny Slate) meets her new hormone monstress and discovers her talent for writing erotic novels. “Andrew” (voiced by John Mulaney) discovers his lustful attraction to his cousin while visiting family and his all-knowing hormone monster “Maury” (also voiced by Nick Kroll) is never far behind. “Jessi” (voiced by Jessi Klein) discovers the joy of masturbation with the help of her hormone monstress ”Connie” (voiced by Maya Rudolph) and “Jay” (voiced by Jason Mantzoukas) discovers more about his sexuality.
“Big Mouth” continues to deliver on crass humor and awkward adolescent encounters that keep its audience glued to the screen for pure binge watching gold! There is not one dull episode this season and it even has a Duke Ellington back-story thrown in for variety.
“Big Mouth” will remind you how awkward those middle school days were for all of us, while also making you wish you had a wise-cracking hormone monster to guide you through it.
