We are back!!! Welcome to Episode 424 where the Leftovers are joined by guests Stephanie Chapman (popcultureleftovers.com) and Joe Stark from StarkCast podcast.

We go over the winners from last weeks contest for THE LOST CITY.

In Good Pop Bad Pop this week for TV Brian talks about his thoughts on OUTER RANGE, the HALO series on Paramount+, THE OFFER on Paramount+ and we all discuss our thoughts on the MOON KNIGHT series and our overall thoughts of Phase 4 of the MCU.

We also discuss the new series on HBO Max THE TIME TRAVELER’S WIFE which follows the spellbinding and intricately out-of-order love story between Clare (Rose Leslie of HBO’s Game of Thrones), and Henry (Theo James of Divergent), and a marriage with a problem: time travel. There’s a new series to U.S. audiences on Crackle with LES NORTON set in 1985 and it follows the exploits of Les Norton, a country bloke from outback Queensland, on the run from a troubled past. HBO Max dropped THE BABY (literally if you watch the show) where a woman who finds a mysterious baby who might not be as cute and innocent as he looks. LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS Season 3 is out on Netflix and it’s Joe and Stephanie’s first times watching the series. What did they think? Peacock has a new series ANGELYNE based on a true story about a mysterious woman who garners fame in 1984 after the appearance of a series of iconic billboards in and around Los Angeles, California start popping up with only one word on them, “Angelyne”. Apple TV+ has a new series NOW AND THEN. Amazon Prime Video gives us NIGHT SKY starring JK Simmons and Cissy Spacek in a story about a couple that possesses a chamber that leads to another planet.

In MOVIES this week we talk about the teen comedy CRUSH on Hulu. We all watched Shudder’s new horror film THE SADNESS. There’s a new remake of the 1984 film FIRESTARTER out now in theaters and on Peacock and we watched it. We talk about the Finnish body horror film HATCHING available now on VOD. And Joe and Brian talk about the new Alex Garland horror film MEN.

In NEWS we have an official rating for the new TOXIC AVENGER reboot. And it looks like we’re getting an animated version of MARRIED… WITH CHILDREN.

In MARVEL NEWS we talk about the new trailer for SHE-HULK. We discuss some quotes from director Taika Waititi about THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER as well as a connection to the BLACK PANTHER sequel. Could Alf appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3? We discuss the Stan Lee deal that went down this week where Marvel can now use his likeness. And it’s official, we’re getting a DAREDEVIL series on Disney+.
