We also talk about the Netflix four part docu-series Challenger: The Final Flight on the 1986 Challenger space shuttle disaster, unpacking an indelible moment for a generation of Americans. Tristan and Neil talk about the new animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. We also talk about a couple of new HBO shows with The Third Day and We Are Who We Are. In Movies we talk about the new Netflix film The Devil All The Time starring Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson. We discuss the new Netflix documentary My Octopus Teacher where filmmaker Craig Foster forges an unusual friendship with an octopus living in a South African kelp forest, learning as the animal shares the mysteries of her world. Neil gives us his thoughts on the Dune trailer.
In News there’s a rumor heating up that Tom Hardy will replace Daniel Craig in the role of James Bond.
In Marvel News Jonathan Majors has been cast in Ant-Man 3 and could be playing none other than Kang the Conqueror. We have directors for the Ms. Marvel Disney+ TV series. And She-Hulk casts Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany.
In DC News we talk about James Gunn and The Suicide Squad, Flash movie news as well as the rumor that Ray Fisher is in “deep negotiations” with Warner Bros. to appear in Flashpoint.
