Welcome to Episode 344. We are joined this week by Neil Thollander and also joined by Spoiler Steve from Scene-It Movie Reviews podcast. In this episode much like the rest we ramble on about nonsensical crap for a good 40 minutes and then struggle to explain and then critique the stuff we watched during the week. It’s literally the same show every week I feel like. Nothing new to see here.
Anyway, for those of you who are still interested in Good Pop Bad Pop this week for movies we talk about the new HBO Max exclusive movie An American Pickle starring Seth Rogen. We also discuss the new Clark Duke written, directed and starring film Arkansas where characters Kyle and Swin live by the orders of an Arkansas-based drug kingpin named Frog, whom they’ve never met. But when a deal goes horribly wrong, the consequences are deadly. We also discuss the new DC Animated film Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons now available to purchase on VOD. And Brian discusses the documentary Cleanin’ Up The Town: Remembering Ghostbusters.
In TV we discuss a couple of Peacock Original with Brave New World and Hitmen. And we also discuss the CBS All-Access original Star Trek: Lower Decks.
In News Mulan is going straight to Disney Plus but with a fee. Brad Pitt and Joey King will star in a film Bullet Train. A Whitney Houston biopic is in the works titled I Wanna Dance With Somebody. A Who’s The Boss sequel series is on the way and will see the return of Tony and Samantha Micelli.
In Marvel News we have a new director for Captain Marvel 2.
And in DC News we talk about James Gunn teasing The Suicide Squad footage at the upcoming DC Fandome Event.
