Welcome to Episode 307. The episode where you deserve a cookie and a hug if you make it all the way through. It’s that bad. Anyway, this week the Leftovers are joined by June and in Good Pop Bad Pop we talk about what we’ve been watching this last week. Brian and Jake discuss the new Taika Waititi film Jojo Rabbit. Brian and June discuss Parasite from director Joon-ho Bong. In other movies Brian discusses Rattlesnake on Netflix, Re:Born on Shudder, Primal starring Nicolas Cage and Midway currently playing in theaters. We also discuss a couple of new trailers that dropped this week. The first is Servant from M. Night Shyamalan coming to Apple TV Plus and the second is Leigh Whannell’s upcoming film The Invisible Man starring Elisabeth Moss.
In News we discuss Stranger Things 4 news, Scream 5 possibly in the works and a studio is bringing James Dean back to life via CG and putting him into a new film (Finding Jack) 65 years after his death.
In Marvel News Moon Knight and She-Hulk have their series writers AND we discuss how important will the Marvel Disney+ shows be to the MCU and should they be?
In DC News we talk about some castings for the The Batman that are in talks at the moment. And we have what I think are some pretty legit spoilers for Wonder Woman 1984. Do we like what we’re hearing about the film? We get into it.
