Welcome to Episode 290 of Pop Culture Leftovers. This week we’re joined by Rebekah Dahling from The Animated Batcast podcast and Ryan from the What’s The Focus? podcast. This week in Good Pop Bad Pop we talk about our love for Perpetual Grace LTD. We rate and discuss the trailer for Roland Emmerich’s upcoming movie Midway. We also talk movies this week with Annabelle Comes Home, Yesterday, The Last Black Man In San Francisco, Plus One and Furie. In TV we talk about Rob Riggle’s new extreme mini-golf challenge show Holey Moley and we talk Zendaya’s controversial HBO show Euphoria from creator Sam Levinson. Rebekah talks about Adam Devine’s new comedy special on Netflix Adam Devine: Best Time of Our Lives.
In News we talk about Henry Cavill and Millie Bobby Brown being cast in a Sherlock Holmes story “Enola Holmes”. We also talk about Paul Rudd joining Ghostbusters 2020. At least I think we do. This is where my memory gets really fuzzy in this episode. I drank vodka for this one and I barely remember talking about Enola Holmes. So if I’m being honest I have no clue what we talk about in Marvel News. Wait… I think we talk about Noah Hawley’s Doctor Doom for a bit. In DC News I’m pretty sure we talk about the Joker movie and then the Andy Serkis rumors for Matt Reeves Batman movie.
