This week the Leftovers are joined by Finn Deetscreek (@finnaidan on Instagram) and we’re talking about the the new Dark Phoenix trailer in Marvel News. But first, we talk about what we’ve been watching and reading in Good Pop Bad Pop. Brian and Jake talk about going to see Transformers the Movie (1986 animated) in theaters and what the experience was like seeing this movie 32 years after it originally played in theaters. Brian talks about the new Murphy Brown revival episode and Kevin Hart’s new film Night School. Jake talks about a Magic The Gathering event he attended and Finn talks about what comics he’s been reading lately as well as the premiere of SNL.
In News we talk about the Bumblebee trailer that just released. We also talk about the Creed II trailer. What does Brian think about a Train To Busan remake? And what popular drama series could do a 20 year time jump?
In Marvel News we’ll talk Spider-Man: Far From Home news including new pics of Mysterio that have surfaced. Also, we’ll discuss the Deadpool 2 being re-released but this time in PG-13.
In DC News we discuss some news from The Batman as well as some Birds of Prey castings.
And we don’t skip Star Wars news this week and we talk about Kathleen Kennedy and Jon Favreau’s tv series.
