It’s episode 241 of PCL and the Leftovers are joined by Rebekah Dahling from the Number One Comic Books podcast and writer and Assistant Editor for Comic Book Resources, Jon Arvedon. This week we have a ton of things to chat about in Good Pop Bad Pop. Brian and Rebekah talk about Dwayne Johnson’s new film Skyscraper. Brian talks more about The Staircase and Evil Genius both of which are available on Netflix. Jon talks about the new Tomb Raider film. Jake gives his thoughts on the first 5 episodes of season 2 of GLOW. Rebekah has talks about the films Gotti and Three Identical Strangers. And finally in GPBP we have a roundtable discussion about the first episode of HBO’s Sharp Objects starring Amy Adams.
In news we’re talking about Jeremy Renner being cast in Spawn. The newly announced Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium) RoboCop Returns. There’s a ton of new shows being talked about this episode as well with a new show starring Rosario Dawson, a Joss Whedon HBO series and Jason Mamoa is getting a series on the Apple streaming service.
